UK PM Sunak: Election results show people want us to deliver for them
British Prime Minister Rishi Sunak said that so far, local election results suggested that people wanted his ruling party to deliver on its promises, but that it was too early in the process to draw definite conclusions.
“The message I am hearing from people tonight is that they want us to focus on their priorities and deliver for them,” he told reporters.
“In terms of results, it’s still early; we’ve only received a quarter of the results, but I’m going to keep delivering on the people’s priorities.”
