Caroline Sunshine, former Disney Channel Star, is now working in the White House

Our beloved Tinka from an all-time favorite Disney classic called Shake it Up is climbing her way to the top. She has joined the Trump administration as a white house intern. The 22-year-old had a change in career industry, from the entertainment industry to international relations and economics, which she studied at Claremont McKenna College. Instead of dancing on a children’s show and competing against the protagonists of the show, Sunshine has decided to follow what appears to be her calling in life.

It is not completely out of the blue, since President Donald Trump has a habit of hiring staff in the entertainment/television industry, including CNBC host Larry Kudlow, John Bolton a Fox News Analysts, and various others. Either way, it still comes as a shock to many as we see a cherished character from our child doing grown-up things.

She was very involved in college, according to a White House spokeswoman, as an active member of the Model United Nations Team and the American Enterprise Institute. It is evident that she was able to accomplish a lot with her time at the college.

However, it is also obvious that she was not well-known around campus. Janine Ivy, a senior at Claremont McKenna College, described Caroline Sunshine as “very sweet, very vibrant, but very reserved neighbor of mine sophomore year. She tended to keep to herself in her room, and I believe she was off-campus most of the time.” Ivy recalled to when she used to bump into her in the bathroom, oblivious that she was bumping shoulders with a former Disney star. “I didn’t find out until months after meeting her. She was very modest in that way.” The star didn’t seem to stay at the college’s campus for too long, which inhibited her possibility of much interaction with other students at the college.

She has also interned previously with the White House in several different offices, including the California Republican Party. So this was a clear indication of her political views. Even though her role encompassed a European exchange student, it is slightly ironic that she is showing her Patriotism for America instead, let alone under the controversial views and actions of our current president.

Nevertheless, she was able to be successful by getting to the Executive Mansion.
