Terrorist Attacks Hit Brussels

It is never a joy to post this kind of news, but Brussels is the next to have been hit by Terrorist Attacks. Today, explosions took place in the cities international airport and main subway station, the latter of which was in close proximity to the headquarters of the European Union.

Brussels officials announced that at least one of the explosions was the work of a suicide bomber, and at the moment, at least 34 people have lost their lives as a result; 14 people were killed at the airport and 20 were killed in the subway, with many more wounded.

These attacks were only a few days after Salah Abdeslam was captured, who was Europe’s most wanted man and wanted for direct participation in the Paris terrorist attacks back in November. He was captured in Brussels, making these attacks sound like a message.
