Benny Gantz, the chairman of the National Unity Party, announced on Thursday that the son of Gadi Eizenkot, an Israeli cabinet minister and former military chief, had been killed in combat in the Gaza Strip.

Eizenkot and Gantz, both of whom are members of the party, joined the administration of Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu shortly after the devastating attack that Hamas carried out on October 7. This act spurred Israel to launch an onslaught in the Palestinian Gaza Strip, which included air, land, and sea operations.

Aside from the fact that he was killed in battle in the northern Gaza Strip, the Israeli military did not offer any further facts regarding the death of Gal Meir Eisenkot, who was 25 years old.

I would want to extend my solidarity to Gadi and his entire family, as well as a warm embrace, on behalf of the entire nation of Israel. According to a statement released by Gantz, “We are all committed to continue fighting for the sacred cause for which Gal ultimately lost his life.”

He expressed his sorrow in a note of condolence, saying that he was saddened.

An Israeli calculation indicates that Hamas terrorists have killed 1,200 people in Israel and hauled 240 more back to Gaza as prisoners. Israel has pledged to eradicate the Palestinian Islamist militant group Hamas after its members claimed responsibility for the deaths of these individuals.

Since October 7, the Health Ministry in Gaza has reported that more than 17,000 Palestinians have been murdered in the region. Additionally, around 1.9 million people, which accounts for 85 percent of the population, have been forced to from their homes.

Despite the fact that the United States and other Western nations have branded Hamas as a terrorist organization, the organization is sworn to the annihilation of Israel.
