President Biden says he will run again in 2024, NBC reports

Former Vice President Joe Biden indicated Monday that he is considering a run for president in 2024 but is not ready to make an official announcement.

Before the White House Easter Egg Roll, Biden told NBC’s “Today” show, “I plan on running… but we’re not prepared to announce it yet.”

Although Biden has not yet made a formal announcement, he has stated his intention to run as the Democratic nominee in 2024. Biden and Vice President Kamala Harris have both announced that they will run as a ticket.

According to NBC News, which cited multiple unnamed sources, top White House officials are about to make final choices on beginning Biden’s re-election campaign.

“The deciding part is gone, but he resents the pressure to have to disclose what he’s already chosen,” an insider told NBC.
