There are times when catastrophes strike in the strangest ways possible. Plane crashes may be a common occurrence, but sometimes the circumstances under which they take place are indeed odd.

One such plane crash took place in Massachusetts recently. At around 6 pm on Sunday in Plainville, a small plane crashed into a house on Bridle Path. According to the Massachusetts State Police, the residents were able to escape on time and were not severely harmed. However, the three passengers on board the small plane died.

The family of four escaped before the house was set ablaze. The identities of the three passengers who passed away have not been released as of yet. Their families need to be notified first, and only then will the identities be released with their permission.

Investigations began around the scene when the firefighters were able to put out the flames at around 8 pm. So far, the NTSB, FAA, Norfolk County State Police Detective Unit, Plainville Fire Department and Police Department and many more units have been assigned to investigate several aspects of the case.

Hopefully, the cause is detected soon enough and such a mishap can be avoided in the future.
