Once Again, The Trumps Go Back On Their Word

It is not the first time Donald Trump- or one of his children for the matter- has completely taken back and recreated an official statement. It is also not the first time it has been done through a tweet.

With worries high about the Trump’s connections to Russia, ties to the Kremlin, and illegal activity surrounding the past presidential election, trump’s contradicting statements have heightened confusion, conspiracy theories and America’s concerns.

One fact has been particularly debated by media, skeptics, and the trumps themselves. Donald Trump Junior held a meeting with Trump’s top campaign advisors and Kremlin lawyer. In other words the meeting between Trump’s closest personal and the kremlin’s personnel, in the midst of the presidential campaign.

Doubts have only risen due to conflicting statements.

In June of 2017, after proof had surfaced that Russia did, in fact, interfere with the American Presidential election, Donald Trump Jr stated that the meeting was held to discuss the adoption of Russian children. When questioned by the NYT, Trump Jr. stated the meeting “primarily discussed a program about the adoption of Russian children.”

Now President Trump has changed the story.

On Sunday, August 5th Donald Trump had a new way of explaining this “totally legal” meeting with the Kremlin lawyer.  He was even sure to take a dig at the media while attempting to explain this jumbled story.

Now, along with a number of Trump’s infamous tweets, this one will join his statments being scrutinized and analyzed by Robert Mueller.
