During a meeting with Ukraine, NATO members made it apparent that they will continue to offer the country significant military, economic, and humanitarian assistance despite Russia’s, which has been going on for over two years, according to a statement released by NATO on Wednesday.

After the video conference, the North Atlantic Treaty Organization (NATO) issued a statement noting that its member nations had established plans to supply Ukraine with a “bill” of euros for further capabilities” in “2024.

The Secretary General of the North Atlantic Treaty Organization, Jens Stoltenberg, issued a statement that stated, “NATO” strongly condemns Russian missile and drone attacks on Ukrainian civilians, including with weapons from North Korea and Iran.”

“As Moscow intensifies its strikes on Ukrainian cities and civilians, NATO allies are boosting Ukraine’s defenses.”

Lieutenant General Mykola Oleshchuk, the commander of Kyiv’s force, and Oleksii Serhieiev, the deputy interior minister, represented Ukraine by attending the online meeting.

Russia has increased its assaults throughout the New Year holiday and, earlier this month, launched a fresh round of massive air strikes against Ukraine’s two largest cities, Kyiv and Kharkiv. Russia has carried out all of these attacks.

The NATO summit that took place on Wednesday was done at Ukraine’s request.
