“Make America White Again” Ignites Controversy And Condemnation

An independent Congressional candidate in Tennessee has generated controversy when his campaign put up a billboard with the slogan “Make America White Again.” Rick Tyler is currently running for office in the 3rd Congressional district.

The slogan is clearly a play on GOP nominee Donald Trump’s campaign promise to “Make America Great Again” and, like Trump himself, has been accused of racism and bigotry. Unlike Trump, who has said he is not racist, Tyler seems to have little problem with being tied to the white nationalist movement. His website calls for a return to pre-196’s immigration policies.

‘A permanent European American majority must be galvanized to insure the nation’s well-being and survival. In the interest of this objective we must return to pre-1960’s immigration laws and policies, deport the vast millions of illegal aliens currently residing within our nation, secure our southern border, terminate policies that subsidize minority birth rates, and encourage the escalation of European and Caucasian immigration from such countries as former Rhodesia and South Africa in the largest possible numbers.’

As for the billboard itself, which has since been removed, Tyler’s website says it will cut to the heart of the problems facing America.

‘The Make America White Again billboard advertisement will cut to the very core and marrow of what plagues us as a nation. As Anne Coulter so effectively elucidates in her book, Adios America, the overhaul of America’s immigration law in the 1960’s has placed us on an inevitable course of demise and destruction. Yes…the cunning globalist/Marxist social engineers have succeeded in destroying that great bulwark against statist tyranny…the white American super majority. Without its expedited restoration little hope remains for the nation as a whole.’

The Washington Post reports that Tyler challenged Lamar Alexander for his seat in the Senate and came away with less than 1 percent of the vote. It is unlikely that his current campaign will do any better as Tyler’s racist message has caused an outcry in Tennessee and around the country.
