The Israeli military says they killed three Palestinians wanted for a fatal attack on Israelis on Thursday, the latest in a wave of violence.

According to a military statement, forces searched the men’s flat in Nablus’ hotspot center early in the morning. Three guys were killed when troops and suspects fired.

The military accused the men of killing a British-Israeli mother and her two daughters in a car attack near a Jewish West Bank settlement last month. Hassan Katnani and Maed Mitsri were Hamas militants, it added. The third victim, Ibrahim Hura, was a senior operative who helped the other accused.

The Palestinian Health Ministry reported three fighting-related deaths but did not identify them.

After a prominent Palestinian prisoner on a hunger strike died in Israeli custody, the violence in Nablus is particularly sensitive. His death triggered Gaza terrorist rockets and airstrikes that killed one man.
The Israeli automobile attack last month startled Israelis by instantly reducing the Dee family from seven to four. The funerals were attended by hundreds, and the family’s father, Leo, has appeared in Israeli media, stating he has no anger for his family’s killers and called for national unity amid a wide social divide.

Since last year’s Palestinian attacks on Israelis, Israel has conducted near-nightly arrest raids in West Bank villages, towns, and cities. Israel claims the raids will break extremist networks and prevent strikes. The Palestinians regard the attacks as entrenching Israel’s 56-year, open-ended occupation of their future state’s lands.

The raids prompted Palestinian violence.

Since the raids, Israel has killed 250 Palestinians. Israel believes most were militants, but stone-throwing adolescents and bystanders were also slain.

Palestinian attacks on Israelis murdered over 50 individuals in the time.
