Following the outlawing of a right-wing extremist organization accused of disseminating Nazi ideology by interior minister Nancy Faeser, German authorities conducted hundreds of national raids on Wednesday.

The interior ministry stated that early morning searches were conducted across 12 states at the “Artgemeinschaft” group’s headquarters and 26 houses belonging to 39 members.

Right-wing extremism and the intellectual arsonists who still promote Nazi beliefs have taken another serious hit, according to Faeser.
“With its disgusting indoctrination of children and young people,” said one right-wing extremist organization, “they have tried to raise new enemies of the constitution.”

Following a lengthy investigation that lasted more than a year in collaboration with American police, German authorities outlawed “Hammerskins Deutschland,” another neo-Nazi organization with origins in the United States, and searched the residences of 28 members.
