Federal authorities arrested a former FBI supervisory agent for joining a mob storming the U.S. Capitol and cheering on rioters who assaulted police.

According to an FBI agent’s affidavit, Jared Wise shouted “Kill ’em!” as he witnessed rioters assault Capitol police on Jan. 6, 2021.

Court documents show Wise was arrested Monday in Oregon on misdemeanor charges of entering or remaining in a restricted structure or grounds.

According to the affidavit, FBI special agent or supervisory special agent Wise, 50, worked from 2004 until 2017. Requests for Wise’s FBI work were ignored.

“We refer you to the public court documents and have no further comment,” an FBI statement adds.

The FBI says surveillance camera footage recorded Wise inside the Capitol on Jan. 6, when a throng of Donald Trump supporters disrupted the joint session of Congress to certify President Joe Biden’s 2020 presidential victory.

The affidavit states Wise clapped and lifted his arms “in triumph” after entering the Senate wing door. He left the building nine minutes later.
Nearly two hours later, police body camera footage showed Wise shouting “Shame on you!” at Capitol police.

He called them disgusting. “I’m ex-police. You stink. Nazi you. You’re Gestapo. It’s invisible.”

The FBI receives a tip in January 2022 that Wise visited the Capitol on Jan. 6.

After his Monday court appearance in Eugene, Oregon, a federal magistrate judge released Wise.

The document states Wise moved to Bend, Oregon, in June 2022 from New Braunfels, Texas.

Emails to Wise’s Oregon lawyer went unanswered.

The Jan. 6 riot injured almost 100 cops. Over 1,000 Capitol siege defendants face federal charges.
